Although I've only been taking art seriously for the last few years, I've been delighted and surprised with the wonderful versatility of working with wool. I mostly work with high quality dyed merino wool, using both wet felting and needle felting techniques. My inspiration is drawn from the beauty of skies, sea and mountains.
If you would like to talk about my work, or if you have a specific project you would like to propose, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Stuart Wilkinson
I create art because I am drawn to the quiet wonder held in ordinary places. Working in soft pastels, I explore landscapes and other subjects with a focus on atmosphere, season, and space—often inspired by North Wales and the Lake District. I favour suggestion over detail, allowing each work to remain open and interpretive, while searching for a subtle resonance with deeper questions of meaning and presence. My work is an attempt to distil what I notice and what moves me, and to invite others into that same attentiveness, with a sense of grace and goodness in the world around us.

We are both members of the Art North Wales group of artists.
Buying our work
We have deliberately set this website up as an online gallery rather an online shop. That's because most of our work is bought face-to-face at art fairs and exhibitions. If you're interested in buying any of the pictures available on our galleries, then please use the contact page. If there's any particular subject that you'd like to discuss for a commission, then we'd love to hear from you.
