Although I've only been taking art seriously for the last few years, I've been delighted and surprised with the wonderful versatility of working with wool. I mostly work with high quality dyed merino wool, using both wet felting and needle felting techniques. My inspiration is drawn from the beauty of skies, sea and mountains.
If you would like to talk about my work, or if you have a specific project you would like to propose, please do not hesitate to contact me.

For me, creativity is all about challenging myself to capture the essence of the landscape. I want viewers of my pictures to feel the conditions, sense the time of day, hear the sounds, and experience the wonder of being there. Artists are in one sense illusionists, trying to conjure all this from elegant and efficient use of a simple rectangular space and basic raw materials.
I’ve been painting off and on for about 20 years since I inherited my grandfather’s home-made oil painting box, though I now mostly work using soft pastels. Nevertheless I’m an insatiable learner, always curious to experiment with new kinds of subjects and techniques, picking up tips, and looking at awesome paintings whenever I can. Most of my work centres around favourite places in North Wales and the English Lake District.
Buying our work
We have deliberately set this website up as an online gallery rather an online shop. That's because most of our work is bought face-to-face at art fairs and exhibitions. But online browsers are also welcome and we have added a catalogue page listing details of pictures that are currently available for sale. If you're interested in any of these, then please use the contact page. If there's any particular subject that you'd like to discuss for a commission, then we'd love to hear from you. We donate 10% of all our profits to environmental and art therapy charities.
